How to have data deleted from YANL, the network-diagnostics service operated by Flying River Ltd. Questions or requests: team@yanl.net.
Recordings that never left your phone
Recordings you have not uploaded stay on your device. Delete them in your device’s file manager, or uninstall the app. They are gone, and we never received them.
Anonymous uploads (no account)
Uploads made without an account are deleted automatically 7 days after upload. To have one removed sooner, email team@yanl.net with the session reference shown when you uploaded, and we will delete it.
Saved sessions (signed in)
If you signed in and saved sessions:
- Delete a single session: open it at app.yanl.net and use Delete, or remove it from your sessions list.
- Delete your account and its data: in the web app, go to Settings → Delete account.
- Or email team@yanl.net and we will action the request.
Sessions you have shared
Deleting a session immediately breaks every share link pointing at it, so the quickest way to un-share something is to delete it. Share links also stop working on their own when the session expires: 7 days after upload without an account, or on the expiry date shown for a saved session.
There is no control for switching off one link while keeping the session, so deleting the session is how you end access early. See Sharing a session.
What is deleted, and what may be kept

We may keep limited records for longer where the law requires it, or to prevent fraud and abuse or resolve disputes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
