Why you can trust what you see

Diagnostic data is only useful if it’s honest. Three commitments run through everything YANL shows you:

We never invent values. If the modem, Wi‑Fi chip, or GPS doesn’t report a reading, you see N/A or a gap, never a made-up number or a silently held old one. How that works →
Every reading carries its age. Values that haven’t been re-confirmed by the hardware are marked stale and then blanked, on tiles, charts, and in the log. How freshness works →
The verdicts are explainable. When the app says “Cellular signal fair”, that grade comes from published, user-tunable thresholds. Tap it and see the exact reading behind it. How grading works →
