Uploading logs
Upload a session
- Stop your recording.
- Open Tools and tap Upload logs to web.
- The app sends the log over an encrypted connection and shows your Reference ID and access code.
No cables and no desktop client: the Reference and code are all you need to open the session in any browser.
After a successful upload
You will see:
- Upload complete
- Your Reference ID: save this to open the web viewer later
- Available until: when the upload will be deleted (7 days for anonymous uploads)
- View on Web (Early Preview): opens app.yanl.net with your session
Session summary on the phone shows session count and metric snapshot count.
The View on Web link is for you, not for sending on
That link contains your access code, so it opens the session in full, with precise locations and Wi-Fi names included. It is meant for getting your own recording onto a bigger screen.
If you forward it to someone else, they see everything you see. To send a session to another person, open it on the web and press Share, which creates a separate view-only link that hides precise location and Wi-Fi names unless you choose otherwise. See Sharing a session.
How long uploads are kept
Anonymous uploads are stored securely for 7 days, then deleted automatically. Sign in on the web and save a session to keep it longer. See Pricing.
